Located in the main castle, the esteemed Carl Wilhelm Restaurant is renowned for its high-end and atmospheric dining experiences, offering guests a relaxed yet sophisticated approach to fine dining.
In addition to the main castle restaurant, Vanajanlinna is also home to another restaurant known for its relaxed atmosphere and flavorful food: Club Restaurant Slotte, located at the golf club. Club Restaurant Slotte serves guests daily during the golf season, while at other times it is available for private events by reservation. The restaurant embodies an easy-going ambiance and values delicious, handcrafted food without unnecessary formality.

At Restaurant Carl Wilhelm, you’ll enjoy the most exciting seasonal flavours, locally sourced ingredients, and carefully considered details, all complemented by first-class service and the authentic ambiance of the 1920s.
Originally used as the breakfast room of Carl Wilhelm and his wife Märtha, the space features its original marble fireplace, chandeliers, and large floor-to-ceiling windows that, in summer, open directly onto the garden.

CLUB RESTAURANT SLOTTE
During the golf season in Finland, Club restaurant Slotte is open daily at Vanajanlinna Golf & Country Club. In winter you can also organize private events in Club restaurant Slotte.
